New lunch prices for the 25-26 school year are listed below.
All outstanding food charges need to be paid before the school year begins. Students will not be allowed to charge over $10 for lunches this year. Payments can be made to our lunch clerk open house or log in to Teacherease to pay with a card. Thank you for your help in this matter.

📣 Staff Spotlight – Meet Mrs. Candice (Nikki) Davison! 💛💜📐

We’re excited to welcome Mrs. Nikki Davison as our new High School Math Teacher here at Green Ridge!

Originally from Sedalia, Mrs. Davison joins us after teaching Geometry at Smith-Cotton High School for the past three years. This year marks her seventh year as a certified teacher, and her experience spans both middle and high school math, including work at a college-prep charter school in Draper, Utah, and as a paraprofessional at a school for children with autism.

🎓 She recently earned her Master’s in Learning Experience Design and Educational Technology—a perfect fit for her passion for finding innovative ways to help students connect with math.

📘 What she’s most excited about:
"Getting to know new students and helping them in their journey learning mathematics. I’m passionate about teaching, and I love mathematics, so getting to help others is a dream come true for me."

🎉 Fun fact:
Mrs. Davison shares her birthday with her brother—but they’re not twins! She was born on his 9th birthday, which also happens to be her parents’ anniversary. Talk about a celebration-packed day! 🥳

🏡 She lives in Sedalia with her husband, mother, and four boys ages 7 to 14.

We’re thrilled to have Mrs. Davison on our team and can’t wait for our high school students to experience her love for math and learning.

• 8:30AM – 3:00PM — Juniors & Seniors

📌 Students can:
✔️ Pick up their class schedules
✔️ Complete first-of-the-year paperwork
✔️ Get locker numbers
✔️ Walk the building and locate classrooms
✔️ Make schedule changes if needed

We’re excited to officially welcome Mrs. Tiffany Dappen as our new ELA Teacher for grades 7–9 here at Green Ridge!

Originally from Ruston, Louisiana, Mrs. Dappen is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in English Language Arts in 2002. With 17 years of teaching experience, she brings both passion and expertise to our junior high students.

📚 What she’s most excited about:
"After a two-year break from having my own classroom, I’m excited to teach again and make a difference in my students' lives."

🌍 Fun fact:
Mrs. Dappen lived in England for four years while her husband served in the United States Air Force!

❤️ Something she’d like to share with the community:
"Teaching has always been my passion! I care about every student that walks in my classroom and will do my best to make each student’s experience in my classroom a great one. I subbed at Green Ridge last year and am so thrilled to be teaching some of the same students this upcoming school year!"

Please help us give a warm Green Ridge welcome to Mrs. Jamie Hoos, our new ELL (English Language Learner) Teacher!

Originally from Hughesville, Jamie and her family moved to Green Ridge in 2012 after living in California, MO. She earned her degree in Elementary Education in 2000 and began her career teaching 2nd grade while earning her Master’s in TESOL from SEMO.

Since then, she’s worn many hats — teacher, church leader, community educator, and substitute teacher right here at Green Ridge. She’s also passionate about writing Bible studies and enjoys administrative work.

🌟 What she’s most excited about:
“I’m most excited about getting to know the students and their families as we partner together to lay the foundation for our English Language Learner Program.”

🏀⚽ Fun fact:
Mrs. Hoos has spent 25 years cheering on her kids from the bleachers and still loves every minute of it! Her husband, Andy, is the High School soccer coach here at Green Ridge, and together they have four adult children and one teenager, Jackson, who is a junior this year.

📘 Something she'd like to share:
“I love teaching and leading, I’m a life-long learner, and I’m really looking forward to making a positive impact. Come and see me on Tuesdays and Thursdays at our GR8 school!”

We’re excited to welcome Mrs. Megan Underwood as our new 4th Grade Math & Science Teacher and Jr. High Assistant Volleyball Coach here at Green Ridge!

Mrs. Underwood is a graduate of Northwest High School (Hughesville) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education as well as a Master’s in Mathematics from Western Governors University. She’s beginning her 9th year of teaching and brings a wealth of experience and energy to the classroom.

5 years teaching all core subjects in 2nd Grade at Parkview Elementary

Say hello to Mrs. Shadow Kratzer, our new 2nd Grade Teacher at Green Ridge!

Mrs. Kratzer comes to us from Hughesville, MO and is a proud graduate of Northwest High School, SFCC, and Western Governors University. Her journey to teaching was a thoughtful one — after stepping into a classroom as a substitute in Sedalia, she instantly knew it was where she belonged. That experience lit a fire that led her to pursue a degree in Elementary Education, and now she’s ready to bring that passion to her very own classroom!

🎉 What she’s most excited about:
“I’m most excited about finding creative ways to help my second graders learn and grow, and about being part of this wonderful community!”

⚾ Fun fact:
Mrs. Kratzer grew up playing every sport she could and went on to play basketball, volleyball, and softball in high school — even playing college softball before an injury sidelined her. She hopes to help coach someday and share her love of the game!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 Outside the classroom, she’s a proud mom of three girls and is excited for her family to be part of a small school and tight-knit community just like the one she grew up in.

Tammy is no stranger to our community — she’s been a longtime Green Ridge resident, and we’re thrilled to have her back in our halls. With 4 years of experience as a para-professional in Green Ridge and 14 years as a Kindergarten teacher in Sedalia, she brings a wealth of knowledge and heart to the classroom.

🎉 What she’s most excited about:
"I look forward to getting to know the students and parents of Green Ridge. I can't wait to be a part of helping students grow and enjoy becoming successful learners."

🌟 Fun facts about Mrs. Thomas:
She loves spending time with her children and six grandkids, enjoys camping, gardening, and fishing (though she says she only catches "fishsticks" 🐟😂), and has a Goldendoodle named Olive. 🐶

❤️ Tammy’s husband and children are Green Ridge Alumni, and she’s proud to serve at New Hope Baptist Church in Sedalia, where she helps prepare breakfast each Sunday morning. She’s also a 5-year colon cancer survivor — a true inspiration!
