The Tiger Band would like to send a HUGE THANK YOU to the Melville Family and our Green Ridge Boosters for helping us with the purchase of our new banner for marching season. We also have plans to make sure this beautiful banner is displayed during pep band too! The banner is sharp, easy to clean, and will match our uniforms beautifully! Thank you to American Band in Nixa, MO for creating our banner in such a timely manner and thank you again to the Boosters and the Melville Family for supporting the Music Department in such a big way! This is a gift that will last for generations!

The Running Tigers showed up and and competed hard at the Kaysinger Conference Track Meet on Thursday. Many athletes placed and several hit Top 3 in their events and brought home medals. The Track Team has had a great season with a lot of successes in practice and meets. Lots of athletic growth among the team. The Junior High team ended their season with Conference, but the High School team has one more season meet at Smith-Cotton Wednesday and then Districts on Saturday.

Final post...fan favorite today...MARTY!!! To know Marty is to love him! He truly captured the hearts of all the students and teachers today. He wasn't included in the post about goats because he was mistaken for a puppy dog most of the day! A special shout out goes to our long term FFA substitute teacher, Mrs. Bybee! Thank you for all you have done in this busy FFA season! A final shout out to the FFA students!!! WOW!!! The hard work that goes into FFA is truly impressive! When these students go to their contests, they participate in authentic assessments that include reading, writing, listening, speaking, math, science, and social studies...not to mention specific content area knowledge for FFA. Green Ridge R-8 is proud of all of you! Thanks for a GR8 day!

These two little goats were a lot of fun to watch! There still may be some uncertainty on names, but I heard possibly S'more for one! So cute! We also had some roping going on in the parking lot. We had some beginners and some experts today!
