The banner is sharp, easy to clean, and will match our uniforms beautifully! Thank you to American Band in Nixa, MO for creating our banner in such a timely manner and thank you again to the Boosters and the Melville Family for supporting the Music Department in such a big way! This is a gift that will last for generations!

Final post...fan favorite today...MARTY!!! To know Marty is to love him! He truly captured the hearts of all the students and teachers today. He wasn't included in the post about goats because he was mistaken for a puppy dog most of the day! A special shout out goes to our long term FFA substitute teacher, Mrs. Bybee! Thank you for all you have done in this busy FFA season! A final shout out to the FFA students!!! WOW!!! The hard work that goes into FFA is truly impressive! When these students go to their contests, they participate in authentic assessments that include reading, writing, listening, speaking, math, science, and social studies...not to mention specific content area knowledge for FFA. Green Ridge R-8 is proud of all of you! Thanks for a GR8 day!
These two little goats were a lot of fun to watch! There still may be some uncertainty on names, but I heard possibly S'more for one! So cute! We also had some roping going on in the parking lot. We had some beginners and some experts today!
Make way for the horses! Kat and B were braided and beautiful for our GR8 students today!
Our feathered friends today were Richard and Francis (parents to Ducky) and Peanut. We also had a Rhode Island Red rooster with a lot to say!!!
Fern, Darcy, Cooper, and Frannie were neighbors today. Who says pigs and sheep can't be friends? Fern & Darcy kept things interesting as they escaped their pen multiple times! Shout out to the FFA students that cut some small trees for shade!
