The Green Ridge Music Department attended District Solo & Ensemble today at State Fair Community College with 12 outstanding musicians.

More 6th grade Mayan masks!
Mr. Allen's 6th graders are working on their Mayan masks! Every shape and color has a specific meaning. This project is big....presentations coming soon!
Upper level math classes are keeping busy! Students were working with exponents in 8th grade math today while Algebra 2 focused on synthetic division. Geometry classes were able to view Ms. Atkin's model of an upcoming project. Keep up the GR8 work!
Twenty Tigers in 5th-8th grades went to Lincoln on March 14 to compete in the first ever Kaysinger Jr High Math Contest. Our students did GREAT!!!
Green Ridge came home with the overall school Championship!

GRE traveled to Lincoln to take part in the annual Kaysinger math and spelling bee! Sixteen GR students in grades 3-6 participated, and 4 came home with medals. Congratulations to 4th grader Waylon Walters-2nd place in math, 5th graders Ethan Twenter-3rd place math and Artum Verbovshchuk-2nd place math, and 6th grader Alita Lemanski-2nd place spelling. It was a GR8 day to be a tiger!
