GR8 STAFF- We are GR8FUL for you!
A GR8 big round of applause also goes out to staff member, Stacie Merriott, for sharing her creative vision with the entire school! This afternoon each junior high and high school student was partnered with an elementary buddy. The upper level mentors assisted their buddies as they worked through 10 stations in their classroom. Later, the partners completed a balloon character of their choice as part of a STEM Balloon Project. It was a student-led afternoon that culminated in a Thanksgiving Day Balloon Parade led by Grand Marshall, Mrs. Hammers! The amount of time and effort to coordinate these activities is deeply appreciated by staff and students! Thank you, Mrs. Merriott, for a wonderful afternoon! We are extremely GR8ful that you joined our Tiger Nation this year!
Ms. Dailey's students enjoyed eating lunch with their teacher! The Thanksgiving feast was AMAZING!!! It was fun to see their little eyes light up when tasting turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, cranberry sauce, rolls, and pumpkin pie! Her Firsties enjoyed having the "big kids" in their classroom this afternoon!
