Harmony traveled down to Webb City today to compete in their annual competition.
Junior, Sydney Gordon, and Senior, Weston Crawford, were chosen by anonymous judges and recognized as the best performing members of Harmony.
The entire group did a great job and took first place in their division. It was a great ending to the competitive season.
There is one more opportunity to see them perform at Dessert & Dinner Theater on Saturday, March 23rd.

Junior High and High School January Student of the Month! 💜💛
Hallie Meyer (8th Grade)
When I think of kindness, I think of Hallie. She is patient and kind to her teachers and classmates. You can always expect something uplifting, positive, and kind to come out of Hallie's mouth. She is also a star student; takes notes, asks questions, and always get her work completed. Hallie truly does show the love of Jesus to everyone she meets.
Rylee Donaldson (10th Grade)
Rylee participates in many extracurricular activities, such as cross country, basketball, and Harmony, and still makes sure her class work is completed and turned in on time. She takes her time when completing assignments to make sure they are done correctly and is not afraid to ask questions. Rylee will help explain things to her classmates when they are struggling without the teacher asking her to.

Elementary January Student of the Month!💜💛
Iris Wheeler
Iris has worked her tail off when it comes to academics. She has gone up three whole grade levels in reading according to STAR and has also shown great improvement in math as well. She practices her reading every night and eagerly participates in class.
Iris is also outstanding when it comes to modeling the expectations for PBIS. I never have to remind her of anything because she is always already doing what is envisioned.
Michael Close
Michael is a positive presence in the school. He always holds the door open, volunteers to clean the kitchen tables, asks if he can assist in anything, positively contributes in class discussions, and is friendly to everyone. Michael does these things not for accolades, tiger bucks, or Mr. Taylor's raffle tickets. He does these things because they are the kind and proper thing to do. He is internally motivated to be a positive influence in the school.
I could not be more proud of a more deserving student of this honor than I am of Michael.
