Dear Parents and Students,

It is my privilege to welcome you to the Green Ridge R-VIII 2019-2020 school year! My name is Rachel Hammers and I am proud to introduce myself as the Green Ridge Elementary Principal. I have been a part of the Green Ridge administrative team since the fall of 2009, and look forward to continuing our journey towards greatness! The faculty and staff join me in saying we are proud to have you as part of our educational team!  The staff at Green Ridge Elementary take great pride in creating a learning environment that is safe, welcoming, and strives to meet the needs of all students. As partners in the learning process, parents and community, are a vital part of educating a child. It takes all of us to ensure that students meet the high expectations needed for future academic and social achievement. We encourage you to support your child in their learning, and communicate the importance of responsibility, motivation, and expectations.
